Witness
We believe our lives are a living and walking witness to the love and grace of God. We witness in many ways. Our witness helps others to experience God’s love through us. Witness gives intentional attention of sharing of personal and congregational stories of Christian experience, faith, and service; communications as expressions of witness for Jesus Christ.
Social Justice
The United Methodist Church has a long history of advocating for social justice. John Wesley and the early Methodists expressed their opposition to societal ills such as slavery, smuggling, inhumane prison conditions, alcohol abuse, and child labor. Learn how we continue in ministries of justice today and find places where you can serve.
Advocating for others and educating ourselves to witness for full and equal participation of all as we seek to eliminate double standards in all aspects of life in the world, but especially in the U.S.
Helping
Preach without words. We demonstrate the growth and transformation that Christ has had in our lives in our communities through deeds of love. This may look different in different circumstances. We volunteer in the community, hold events to help empower others to be made whole, advocate for the disadvantaged, and assist in feeding others.
